About Old Time Fiddle Session and Community Gathering:
Since its inception, Old Time Fiddle Session has welcomed an ever-growing number of participants, fostering a vibrant community of musicians and enthusiasts. The event is open to the public and encourages people at any stage of their musical journey to join in. The session not only draws local talent but also attracts fiddlers from neighboring states and regions, creating a dynamic and diverse musical experience.
Over the past six years, the Old Time Fiddle Session has taken place in various prestigious locations, including the New Bedford Folk Festival, the Lloyd Center for the Environment, the NB Roots and Branches Festival, and several farmers markets across the Southcoast. During the pandemic, the session continued virtually, ensuring that the music and community spirit thrived.
